History / Mission Statement South Story Bank & Trust was Established in 1954 as Slater State Bank to provide financial services to local residents. The Bank's name was changed when a branch was established in Huxley to also serve that community. Over the years, as the area we serve has grown and prospered the Bank has added new products and services to keep pace with the rapidly changing financial services industry. Our basic mission however has not changed.
